أولاً: الإسراء

قال رسول الله (صلَّى الله عليه وآله) "أَتَانِي جِبْرَائِيلُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ) وَأَنَا بِمَكَّةَ، فَقَالَ: قُمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ. فَقُمْتُ مَعَهُ وَخَرَجْتُ إِلَى الْبَابِ، فَإِذَا بِجِبْرَائِيلَ وَمَعَهُ مِيكَائِيلُ وَإِسْرَافِيلُ. فَأَتَى جِبْرَائِيلُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ) بِالْبُرَاقِ... فَقَالَ: ارْكَبْ، فَرَكِبْتُ وَمَضَيْتُ حَتَّى انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ... انتهي الحديث الشريف، الآن: لكل دين سماوي لابد من معجزة ، وشاء الله تعالي أن يجعل الأمم السابقة معجزاتها كلها حسية كعصا موسي أو خاتم سليمان أو تبرئة الأكمة والأبرص والعمي لعيسي عليهم السلام أجمعين، أما معجزة سيدنا محمد ، شاء الله تعالي ان لا تكون كلها حسية بل معنوية تارة وحسية اخري لا نختلف مثل معجزة شق القمر أو نبع الماء بين يدي رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم وغيرها، وهذه المعجزة التي بين ايدينا (معجزة الإسراء والمعراج) من قبيل المعجزات المعنوية الغيبية فلم يضطلع عليها إلا رسول الله وجبريل عليه السلام والملائكة ، لا أحد من البشر رآها، وهي كانت أمس مدعاة للسخرية والتشكيك واليوم كذلك من يريد أن يطعن في الإسلام يطعن بمثل هذه القصة، والسؤال هنا: اختبار لقوة إيمانك لا تعتمد علي ما تراه بعينك ولكن ما تراه بروحك وقلبك ، صدق من قال (إنها لا تعمي الأبصار ولكن تعمي القلوب التي في الصدور) هذه القصة التي تشكك فيها من تشكك، وكذب فيها رسول الله من كذب، ونافق من نافق وكفر وخرج من الملة من خرج، وانا وأنت ونحن معنيين بالإيمان بها أيضا ، لذا دعنا نتعرف عليها من منظور علمي وإيماني عقدي... في آن واحد، فهيا بنا ..

قال تعالي

(سُبْحَانَ الّذِي أَسْرَىَ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَىَ الْمَسْجِدِ الأقْصَى الّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَآ إِنّهُ هُوَ السّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ)

إطلالة حول الآية الكريمة

سبحان: تقال عند التعجب من شيء، ففي ليلة السَّابع عشر من شهر رمضان المبارك، قبل الهجرة النَّبويَّة بستَّة أشهر، أُسري برسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم كما جاء في الآية الكريمة من البيت الحرام إلي المسجد الأقصي، ثم اخبرنا الله تبارك وتعالي ، أن بيت المقدس وما حوله كله مقدس مبارك من السماء ، لماذا أُسري برسول الله إلي المسجد الأقصي المبارك، ليري سيدنا محمد قدرة الله تبارك وتعالي التي لا تحدها حدود، ففي هذه الآونة من التاريخ الإنساني لم يعرفوا سوي الناقة كوسيلة للإنتقال، وتستغرق الرحلة من المسجد الحرام للمسجد الأقصي بالناقة ما لا يقل عن شهر كامل، ورسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم ذهب وعاد في ليلة واحدة ، والهدف أن يري سيدنا محمد الآفاق وليس كوكب الأرض وحسب. والله أعلي واعلم.

إننا في دنيا الناس منا من يفضل الصيف علي الشتاء ومنا من يفضل الشتاء علي الصيف، ونفضل بعض الأماكن علي بعض التي لنا بها تجارب ايجابية علي سبيل المثال، الله تعالي بجلال قدره يفعل ذلك أيضاً، له أماكن محببة وأزمنة وبعض الناس "الأنبياء والمرسلين" كل هذه الأشياء لها أفضلية عند الله تعالي، ولا عجب أن يُفضل الله تعالي هذه البلدان الثلاث ويذكرهم في كتابه العزيز، ففلسطين كلها وليس القدس فقط أرض طاهرة محببة إلي الله تعالي، وخاصة ان بها بيت المقدس مسري رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم، ومهبط الأنبياء ففلسطين وكل ما حولها مبارك ببركة القدس الشريف، أما المسجد الحرام: فهو الأحب إلي الله تعالي ، فإنه اول بيت وضع للناس في الأرض، وبيوت الله في الأرض المساجد، أما دلالة الإنتقال من المسجد الحرام إلي المسجد الأقصي: ويقول رسول الله صلي الله عليه سلم: (لا تُُشد الرحال إلا لثلاث: ومنها المسجد الأقصي ... دلالة صريحة بأهمية المسجد الأقصي وأنه لا تفريط به مطلقا من قبل المسلمين.

الآن... قبل أن نورد قصة الإسراء ... دعنا نتحدث ما هي وسيلة الإنتقال إلي المسجد الأقصي بهذه السرعة في ليلة واحدة والتي كانت تأخذ من العرب قرابة شهرين بالناقة

مواصفات البراق

ورد وصف البراق الذي ركبه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الصحيحين ، فروى البخاري (3207)، ومسلم، واللفظ لمسلم، عنه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ( أُتِيتُ بِالْبُرَاقِ، وَهُوَ دَابَّةٌ أَبْيَضُ ، طَوِيلٌ ، فَوْقَ الْحِمَارِ، وَدُونَ الْبَغْلِ، يَضَعُ حَافِرَهُ عِنْدَ مُنْتَهَى طَرْفِهِ ) (فَرَكِبْتُهُ حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ) ، قَالَ: (فَرَبَطْتُهُ بِالْحَلْقَةِ الَّتِي يَرْبِطُ بِهِ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ) وعند ابن خزيمة ( يَقَعُ خُطَاهُ أَقْصَى طَرْفِهِ ) والمعنى: يَضَعُ رِجْلَهُ عِنْدَ مُنْتَهَى ما يرى بَصَره.

والتعليق

اتفقنا أن لكل دين معجزة حسية ولربما معجزة معنوية ولكن لابد من معجزة، والمعجزة: هي الشيء الخارق للعادة، فإذا جاء احدهم ويأكل ويشرب معنا ويمشي في الأسواق ثم يدعي انه رسول للإله هل ستصدقوه؟ بالطبع لا، لذا لابد من شيء خارق للعادة، ويبدوا أن هذا السبب ايضاً هو السبب الرئيس في أن محمداً صلي الله عليه وسلم خاتم النبيين، لماذا؟ لأن الحياة تتقارب من نهايتها، قال رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم (بُعِثتُ أنا والسَّاعةُ كَهذه مِن هذه، أو: كَهاتَينِ، وقَرَنَ بينَ السَّبَّابةِ والوُسطى) ومعني هذا اننا في آخر الزمان وكلما زاد الزمان في الوصول إلي نهايته كلما زادت الحضارة وازداد استخدام الناس للتكنولوجيا وغيرها، نحن في عصر ثورة الروبوتات العلمية، ورأينا الأطفال المصممونdesigner babies عيانا، وسمعنا عن علم التبريد العميق Cryogenic أي شبهة حفظ الموتي ثم شبهة احياءهم وامتداد الحياة أو transhumanists وغيرها من الأشياء التي يذهل امامها العقل تماما أن الإنسان في آخر الزمان قد وصل لهذا، وهناك نقطتين في هذا:

1- لو جاء العصر الذي نحن فيه بمثل ما فيه من تكنولوجيا والله تعالي لم يأتي بما هو أعلي منه في اول التاريخ الإنساني او الإسلامي بحيث لا يمكن أن يصل أحد إلي ما وصل إليه، لقال من قال أن الله ليس بقادر علي ما قدر عليه الغرب اليوم.

2- الحمد لله أن جعل سيدنا محمد صلي الله عليه وسلم خاتم النبيين؟ لماذا؟ لأانه إذا جاء احدهم اليوم وادعي انه رسول من عند الله، أو حتي ادعي انه إله لقال من قال: هذه حضارة البشر ولا يمكن ان يكون هذا إله، للعلم قد ادعي الإلوهية الكثير في عالم اليوم، وهي الديانات الأرضية التي وصلت في بعض محركات البحث إلي 7000 ديانة أرضية.

فكان لابد من السفر من البيت الحرام إلي بيت المقدس بسرعة الطائرة أو أسرع ولكن بشكل يفهمه العرب وقتذاك، فلو كان رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم قال لهم إني سافرت من هنا إلي هناك في طائرة لكان تكذيبه صلي الله عليه وسلم أكبر واعظم.

والقصة بإيجاز

إنَّ النَّبي محمَّدًا (صلَّى الله عليه وآله) كان بمكَّة، فصلَّى المغرب في المسجد الحرام، ثمَّ أسري به في ليلته إلى بيت المقدس، ومنه عرج به إلى السَّماء، ثمَّ رجع فصلَّى الصُّبح في المسجد الحرام، إلى أن قال (صلَّى الله عليه وآله): "فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، إِذَا مَلَائِكَةٌ نَزَلَتْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِالْبِشَارَةِ وَالْكَرَامَةِ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ، وَصَلَّيْتُ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ.

والتعليق

قد يقول قائل: أنا من رواد الفضاء – وهناك من قفز قفزة فليكس الفزيائية المشهورة، والكثير صعد للسماء ولم يجد في طبقات السماء إلا الدخان ولم يري فيها الله، ولم يري الملائكة ولا الأنبياء ...الخ فكيف هذا؟ ليس عندنا إجابة شافية ولكن اسمع: ما مدي رؤيتك؟ ما هو مدي سمعك؟ لو افترضنا أن نظرك 6/6 وحديد، هل تستطيع أن تري المدينة المقابلة لبلدك الذي تعيش به؟ بل هل تستطيع رؤية الفيروسات من حولك، مستحيل، ولو رأيت ذلك لمت هلعا وخوفاً من فيروس قطره لا يزيد عن بضعة مليمترات من المائة، إذن ما مدي سمعك: هل تسمع كل شيء حولك، هل تسمع نبضات قلبك وضغط دمك وهو يسير في الشرايين، والسؤال الأخير: هل تري مثلما يري الديكة – الحمار – القطط ...الخ الأشعة فوق الحمراء ؟ بالطبع لا، ماذا أقصد من كل تلك الأسئلة: انت خُلقت بامكانات محدودة لمكان محدود (الدنيا) لذا الجنة قوانينها الفزيائية التي تحكمها مختلفة تماما، فأنت أنت ولكنك عفواً لا تتبرز أو يخرج منك ما يسوءك، هل هذا معقول عقلاً؟ لا ولكن قوانين الفزياء تتحكم في كل شيء وهي مختلفة من كوكب لآخر ألا تختلف في الجنة.

إمامة الصلاة بالأنبياء – عليهم السلام -

ثبت في السُنَّة الصحيحة أن نبينا صلوات الله وسلامه عليه صلَّى بإخوانه الأنبياء عليهم السلام إماماً في رحلة الإسراء والمعراج عند بيت المقدس، فعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (وقد رَأَيْتُنِي في جماعة من الأنبياء، فإذا موسى قائم يصلي، فإذا رجل ضرْبٌ جعد كأنه من رجال شنوءة (قبيلة مشهورة من صفاتهم أنهم شداد طوال القامة وإذا عيسى ابن مريم عليه السلام قائم يصلي أقرب الناس به شبهاً عروة بن مسعود الثقفي، وإذا إبراهيم عليه السلام قائم يصلي أشبه الناس به صاحبكم ـ يعني نفسه ـ، فحانت الصلاة فأممتهم- رواه مسلم.

قال القرطبي في التفسير

ثبت أن الأنبياء والأولياء والشهداء لا تأكل الأرض أجسادهم ، فقد حرم الله على الأرض أن تأكل أجسادهم ونحن بالتأكيد نحن وانت متفقين علي أن رحلة الإسراء والمعراج معجزة أي شيء خارق للعادة وهي اولي اوليات الأنبياء ، فلا تحاول فهمها علميا ، بل لابد من معرفة اننا لا نعيش وحدنا في هذا الكون المحكم فزيائيا بمهارة فائقة ، فيعيش معنا الجن وتعيش معنا الملائكة حتي وان كنا لا نراهم وهم يروننا ، فنحن نؤمن بذلك، وقد يقول قائل: أنا عشت 70 عاما ولم أشاهد يوما ملاك أو حتي شيطان، فلماذا تريدون مني ان اؤمن بأشياء لم تراها عيني يوما؟ والإجابة علي هذا السؤال: هناك في الحياة أثر بدون عين، وعين بدون أثر، أما الأثر بدون عين مثاله الشهير: الكهرباء ، أنت متأكد أن هناك كهرباء في المنزل كيف عرفت ذلك من إضاءة المصابيح ، هل شممت الكهرباء – هل لمستها بيدك – هل ذقتها، لا، ولا تستطيع إذن هي اثر بلا عين، ونحن متأكدين من وجودها.

إلي هنا اكتفينا برحلة الإسراء، وفي الفيديو القادم سوف نتحدث عن رحلة المعراج بالرغم من أنهما رحلة واحدة ، إلا اننا فضلنا الفصل بينهما لنأخذ كلا فقرة بالتحليل المبسط لعلنا نعي عن الله علي مراده سبحانه وتعالي واختم لك بسؤال: هل تعلم لما يستطيع الأسد صيد الغزال بالرغم من سرعة الغزال الفائقة؟ إنها قواني الفزياء ايضا، فالغزال كثير الإلتفاء إلي الوراء فيقلل من سرعته، أما الأسد فيأخذ الجري في شوط واحد فيلحق بالغزال..، عندما تحكمنا قوانين الفزياء في دنيانا فلا تسأل عنها مع روحانياتنا، والله أعلي واعلم ... أيها المستمع الكريم دمت بخير وصلي اللهم علي سيدنا محمد وعلي آله وصحبه وسلم.

انتهينا في الفيديو السابق من الحديث عن الإسراء من المسجد الحرام إلي المسجد الأقصي المبارك، المبارك ما حوله، في هذا الفيديو سوف نتحدث عن العروج للسماء وما نستفيد من هذه الرحلة التي اختلف فيها العلماء هل هي بالروح فقط أم بالروح والجسد، والأرجح أنها بالروح والجسد لتبين المعجزة بكامل اركانها، ماذا رأي رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم في الآفاق (بعض من مشاهد من عذاب بعض فئات الناس) حتي لو كانوا مسلمين فأذنبوا هذه الذنوب) ودلالات ذلك، وماذا حدث عندما حدث رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم قومه بعد رجوعه من رحلة الإسراء والمعراج، وهل سهل علي الإنسان أن يكون صادق ويكذبه قومه أجمعين إلا بضعة افراد من البشر... هنا في هذه الرحلة سُمي عبد الله بن قحافة "أبو بكر الصديق" رضي الله عنه وارضاه، فهيا بنا نتعرف علي الأحداث.

العروج بالمعراج

الأصح لغوياً كما قرأنا للعلماء رحلة العروج وليست رحلة المعراج، فالمعراج هي آلة الصعود إلي السماء

الأهم: يقول رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم: أَخَذَ جِبْرَائِيلُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ) بِيَدِي إِلَى الصَّخْرَةِ أي (قُبة الصخرة) فَأَقْعَدَنِي عَلَيْهَا، فَإِذَا مِعْرَاجٌ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ لَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَهُ حُسْنًا وَجَمَالًا، فَصَعِدْتُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، وَرَأَيْتُ عَجَائِبَهَا وَمَلَكُوتَهَا، وَمَلَائِكَتُهَا يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيَّ. ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِي جِبْرَائِيلُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الثَّانِيَةِ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا عِيسَى بْنَ مَرْيَمَ، وَيَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّا. ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الثَّالِثَةِ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا يُوسُفَ. ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الرَّابِعَةِ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا إِدْرِيسَ. ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الْخَامِسَةِ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا هَارُونَ. ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ السَّادِسَةِ، فَإِذَا فِيهَا خَلْقٌ كَثِيرٌ يَمُوجُ بَعْضُهُمْ فِي بَعْضٍ، وَفِيهَا الْكَرُوبِيُّونَ(والكربيون معناها: المقرَّبون إِلى الله من الملائكة، منهم: جبريلُ، وميكَائيلُ، وإِسرافيلُ، في رأي بعضَ المفسِّرين) ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ السَّابِعَةِ، فَأَبْصَرْتُ فِيهَا خَلْقًا وَمَلَائِكَةً. ثُمَّ جَاوَزْنَاهَا مُتَصَاعِدِينَ إِلَى أَعْلَى عِلِّيِّينَ".

وفي حديث آخر

عن عبد الله، قال: لمّا أسْري برسول الله ﷺ انْتُهِيَ به إلى سِدْرةِ المنتهى. وهي في السّماء السّادسة، إليها ينتهي ما يُعرَجُ به من الأرضِ. فيُقبضُ منها. وإليها ينتهي ما يُهبطُ به من فوقها. فيقْبضُ منها. قال: ﴿إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى (١٦)﴾. قال: فَراش من ذهب. قال، فأُعطِيَ رسولُ الله ﷺ ثلاثًا: أعُطِيَ الصّلوات الخمس. وأُعْطِيَ خواتيمَ سورةِ البقرة، وغُفرَ - لمن لم يُشْرِك بالله من أُمَّته شيئًا – المُقْحِمَات: أي الذنوب العظام "الكبائر" التي تقحم صاحبها في النار

هل سمعت من قبل بالمصعد الإلكتروني الفضائي ، إنه تقنية متقدمة كانت مستقبل وأصبحت واقع، له حمولة أكبر بكثير من المركبة الفضائية ويختصر المسافة نظراً لسرعته الشديدة ونقل الركاب الذاهبين للفضاء في اسرع وقت مقارنة بالمركبة الفضائية، يمكنك القراءة عنه في الرابط أسفل.

الشاهد

الله تبارك وتعالي لمن يؤمن به هو خالق الكون وليس العالم بمجراته بقاراته وبأرضه وسماءه وما بينهما بهندسة كونية عالية الإحكام ، ويقول تعالي في غير موضع من القرآن ( إن يوماً عند ربك كألف سنة مما تعدون) ومعني هذا أن الزمن الذي يحكمنا هنا في كوكب الأرض ليس هو الزمن الذي يتحكم فيه الله تبارك وتعالي ، فنحن تتحكم فينا عوامل الزمان والمكان، أم الله تبارك وتعالي فلا يحكمه مثل هذه الأشياء، وبهذه الحسبة حسبة 5000 الف سنة، إذن لو كان عمرك 60 عام مثلاً فأنت في عُرف الله تعالي تكاد تكون لم تولد بعد، هلا تذكرت معي قوله تعالي (قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ (112) قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ (113) – لماذا نعيش علي الأرض 60 أو 70 أو حتي 100 عام ولا نتخيل إن هذه الأيام لم تتعدي يوم أو يومين يوم القيامة؟ لأنه ببساطة: انتهي الزمكان الذي يحكمنا في كوكب الأرض، وأصبح القيامة لها زمكان خاص بها مختلف كليا عن الزمن الذي عهدناه هنا علي كوكب الأرض، أعطيك مثال آخر: هل تعلم كم عدد الساعات علي كوكب المريخ؟ إنها 25 ساعة لليل والنهار لذا هو أقرب الكواكب شبه بكوكبنا الأم الذي عشنا عليه طيلة حياتنا كوكب الأرض ، وكوكب الزهرة: 36 ساعة ، وهكذا يختلف الزمكان من كوكب لآخر، والله تعالي هو مهندس الكون، فإن استطاع أن يجعل كل كوكب من كواكب درب التبانة فقط مختلفين لهذه الدرجة، فهل يُعجزه أن يجعل رسوله يسافر من المسجد الحرام إلي المسجد الأقصي في ليلة واحدة... فقط قف ايها العقل عند حدودك، فتبارك الله أحسن الحاكمين، حاكم قواعد الفزياء الكونية. والله أعلي واعلم.

ماذا رأي رسول الله في رحلة المعراج

من ذلك ما رُوي عن رسول الله (صلَّى الله عليه وآله) في حديث طويل في المعراج وفيه

رَأَيْتُ جَمَاعَةً أَخَذُوا رِجَالًا وَيَرْضَخُونَ رُؤُوسَهُمْ بِالْحِجَارَةِ

وَكُلَّمَا تَشَدَّخَتْ رُؤُوسُهُمْ تَصِحُّ، ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ فَيَرْضَخُونَهَا بِالْحِجَارَةِ وَهَكَذَا، فَقُلْتُ: يَا جِبْرَئِيلُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يُقَصِّرُونَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَرِيضَةِ وَيُؤَدُّونَهَا كُسَالَى وَيَنَامُونَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ"

قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَرَرْتُ بِأَقْوَامٍ لَهُمْ مَشَافِرُ كَمَشَافِرِ الْإِبِلِ

يَقْرِضُونَ اللَّحْمَ مِنْ أَجْسَامِهِمْ وَيُلْقَى فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ يَا جِبْرَئِيلُ؟ فَقَالَ: هُمُ الْهَمَّازُونَ اللَّمَّازُونَ

ثُمَّ مَضَيْتُ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِأَقْوَامٍ يُقْذَفُ بِالنَّارِ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ فَتَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَدْبَارِهِمْ

فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ الْيَتَامَى ظُلْمًا، إِنَّمَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ نَارًا وَسَيَصْلَوْنَ سَعِيرًا.

ثُمَّ مَضَيْتُ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِأَقْوَامٍ يُرِيدُ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنْ يَقُومَ فَلَا يَقْدِرُ مِنْ عِظَمِ بَطْنِهِ

فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ يَا جِبْرَئِيلُ؟ قَالَ: فَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا، لَا يَقُومُونَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَقُومُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الْمَسِّ

وَإِنَّهُمْ لَبِسَبِيلِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَى النَّارِ غُدُوًّا وَعَشِيًّا

يَقُولُونَ: رَبَّنَا مَتَى تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ

والتعليق

ربما تقول كيف شاهد رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم ناس تتعذب في النار وسأل سيدنا جبريل ماذا كان عملهم ليعذبون في مثل هذا العذاب الشديد؟ والجواب ربما هو احتمالين:

الإحتمال الأول

 أنهم من الأمم السابقة مصداقا لقول رسول الله – من يموت تقوم قيامته – ومثل آل فرعون: النار يعرضون عليها غدوا وعشيا أي في اول النهار وآخره.

الإحتمال الثاني

اتفقنا أن يوما عند ربك كألف سنة مما تعدون، واتفقنا انك عندما تخرج من كوكب الأرض وتذهب لكوكب مثل المريخ علي سبيل المثال لا الحصر تُأقلم نفسك مع المناخ هناك فيزيائيا مثل ما يفعلون مع أهل المريخ أو من سيتأهلون للعيش عليه من رواد الفضاء وغيرهم من تغيير بعض الوظائف الفسيولوجية لديهم بالهندسة الوراثية كاتساع حدقة العين أو ميل لون اجسادهم إلي اللون البرتقالي أو اتساع جبهتهم وغيرها، فإذا كان هذا هو حالنا من الإنتقال من كوكب لكوكب فما بالنا من الإنتقال من الدنيا إلي الآخرة، فإن فزيائها والزمكان بها مختلف تماما عن الدنيا، ففي علم الله وفي الزمكان في الآخرة وكأنها رحلة للسفر عبر المستقبل... والله أعلي واعلم.

بعد الرجوع من رحلة الإسراء والمعراج

ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْتُ حَدَّثْتُ بِهِ النَّاسَ، فَكَذَّبَنِي أَبُو جَهْلٍ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ" قال مطعم بن عدي: أتزعم أنَّك سرت مسيرة شهرينِ في ساعة، أشهد أنَّك كاذب. ثمَّ قالت قريش: أخبرنا عمَّا رأيت. فقال: "مَرَرْتُ بِعِيرِ بَنِي فُلَانٍ، وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا بِعِيرًا لَهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي طَلَبِهِ، وَفِي رحْلِهِمْ قِعْبٌ مَمْلُوءٌ مِنَ مَاء (قعب أي قدح ضخم غليظ) فَشَرِبْتُ الْمَاءَ، ثُمَّ غَطَّيْتُهُ كَمَا كَانَ". فَسَأَلُوهُمْ: هَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ الْمَاءَ فِي الْقِدْحِ؟" قالوا: هذه آية واحدة. قال: " وَمَرَرْتُ بِعِيرِ بَنِي فُلَانٍ، فَنَفَرَتْ بِكْرَةُ فُلَانٍ فَانْكَسَرَتْ يَدُهَا،(البكرة: خشبة مستديرة في جوفها مِحْور تدور عليه) فَسَأَلُوهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ".فقالوا: هذه آية أخرى.قالوا: فأخبرنا عن عِيرنا؟ قال: "مَرَرْتُ بِهَا بِالتَّنْعِيمِ، تَقَدَّمَهَا جَمَلٌ أَوْرَقٌ (أي: أحمر)، عَلَيْهِ قَرَارَتَانِ مُحِيطَتَانِ، وَيَطْلُعُ عَلَيْكُمْ عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ". قالوا: هذه آية أخرى. ثمَّ خرجوا يشتدون نحو التيه وهم يقولون: لقد قضى محمَّد بيننا وبينه قضاءً بيِّنًا. وجلسوا ينتظرون حتَّى تطلع الشَّمس فيكذبوه - أي حتي تخرج العيرالتي يتقدمها جمل احمر- فقال قائل: والله إنَّ الشَّمس قد طلعت. وقال آخر: والله هذه الإبل قد طلعت يقدمها بعير أورق – أي احمر - ، فبهتوا ومع ذلك لم يؤمنوا.

أما أبو بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه فقد كان موقفه كالتالي

فبينما استقبلت قريش خبر الإسراء بالسخرية والتشكيك، وسعت لزعزعة الصف المؤمن، توجهت إلى أبي بكر ظنًّا أنه قد يتردد أو يشك. لكن الرد جاء حاسمًا، نابعًا من يقين لا يعرف التردد: «إن كان قد قال ذلك، فقد صدق». وانتهي الأمر ويقال أنه سمي الصديق بسبب هذه الواقعة ووقائع أخر.

والتعليق: اسمع لعلم النفس

قد يكون للصدق المفرط آثار إيجابية وسلبية على رفاهية الفرد. تُظهر الأبحاث أن الصدق قد يكون أكثر متعةً وأقل ضررًا على العلاقات مما يتوقعه الناس. بل قد يؤدي الصدق إلى تعزيز التواصل الاجتماعي وتحسين الرفاهية النفسية على المدى الطويل.

ما هي مشاعر رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم لا نقول انه متأكد من انه صادق وقومه يكذبونه، لا لا، بل نقول: ما كانت مشاعره قبل أن يؤيده ربه بمثل هذا هل كان متأكد ان الله تعالي سيؤيده؟ وانت عندما يكذبك من حولك في موضوع ماك وانت اقتربت من الله تعالي هل تشعر بتأييده لك، هل تتخيل أنه سيدافع عنك، هل هي اسرار الصلاة ، أم هي الإقتراب من الله تعالي؟ أم هو الثقة بالله وحسن التوكل عليه؟

ماذا نستفيد من رحلة الإسراء والعروج؟

1- يقول تعالي ( تَعْرُجُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ (4))

والآية تُشير إلي أن الملائكة تنزل بالأمر من عند الله تعالى ثم تعود إليه مرَّة أخرى -أي ذهابًا وإيابًا- في يوم يُوازي ألف سنة من أيام البشر؛ أي أن العروج وحده يكون في خمسمائة سنة من سنوات البشر، فمعنى هذا أن ما يقطعه البشر في خمسمائة سنة يقطعه المـَلَك في يوم واحد، وهذا يعني أن سرعة جبريل عليه السلام مائة ضعف سرعة كثير من الملائكة

2- من أراد الصعود إلي سدرة المنتهي التي لا يصل اليها حتي الملائكة المقربين من الله تعالي (فليسجد) قال تعالي " واسجد واقترب" والسجود سحر حياة المسلم، ففي السجود ليس فقط يحط الخطايا والذنوب من علي ظهره، لا بل يقترب من الأرض وشحناتها الإيجابية فيستمد منها شحناتها الإيجابية ويترك السلبية في الأرض ويكون قريب من مكونات الكون الأرض والطين التي منها خلقنا، لذا لو كنت في صلاة وكنت خاشع جداً وكنت مثقل بالأحزان، تقول بعدما صليت، أنا ارتحت، هل حلت مشكلتك؟ لا بل انت اتصلت بالكون، اتصلت بمدبر الكون فوصلت الطمأنينة والراحة إلي قلبك وانتهي الأمر.

3- الله تعالي قادر علي ان يُبدد احزانك باقترابك – بسجدة – باقتراب حقيقي من الله تعالي ، قادر أن يغير نواميس الكون من أجلك انت إن اقتربت حد الإحتراق بالأنوار الربانية، قيل للحسن بن علي رضوان الله عليهما: ما بال المتهجدين بالليل من أحسن الناس وجوهًا؟ قال: لأنهم خلوا بالرحمن فألبَسهم من نوره.

First: The Night Journey (Isra')

The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: “Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to me while I was in Mecca and said: ‘Arise, O Muhammad.’ So, I arose with him and went out to the door, and there was Gabriel with Michael and Israfil. Then Gabriel (peace be upon him) brought the Buraq… and said: ‘Ride,’ so I rode and went until I reached Jerusalem…” The hadith ends here. Now: Every divine religion must have a miracle, and God willed… God Almighty did not make the miracles of previous nations all physical, like the staff of Moses, the ring of Solomon, or the healing of the blind, the leper, and the blind by Jesus, peace be upon them all. As for the miracle of our Prophet Muhammad, God Almighty willed that it is not all physical, but sometimes spiritual and sometimes physical. We do not disagree on this, such as the miracle of the splitting of the moon or the springing of water in the hands of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and others. This miracle that is before us (the miracle of the Night Journey and Ascension) is of the category of spiritual and unseen miracles, so no one from among mankind witnessed it except the Messenger of God, Gabriel, peace be upon him, and the angels. No human being saw it. It was yesterday a cause for ridicule and doubt, and today it is the same. Whoever wants to attack Islam attacks with such a story. The question here is: a test of the strength of your faith. Do not rely on what you see with your eyes, but what you see with your soul and heart. Truly, He who said, “It is not the eyes that are blind, but the hearts which are in the breasts,” spoke the truth. This is the story that some doubted, and some lied about the Messenger of God. Those who were hypocrites were hypocrites, and those who disbelieved and left the faith left it. You, I, and we are all concerned with believing in it as well, so let's learn about it from a scientific and doctrinal perspective... all at once. So, let's go...

Allah Almighty said

(سُبْحَانَ الّذِي أَسْرَىَ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَىَ الْمَسْجِدِ الأقْصَى الّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَآ إِنّهُ هُوَ السّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ)

(Glory be to Him Who took His servant by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him some of Our signs. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.)

A Glimpse into the Noble Verse

The word “Subhan” (Glory be to Him) is used to express wonder at something. On the seventeenth night of the blessed month of Ramadan, six months before the Prophet’s migration (Hijra), the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, was taken on a night journey, as mentioned in the noble verse, from the Sacred House (the Kaaba) to the Farthest Mosque. Then God, Blessed and Exalted is He, informed us that Jerusalem and all its surroundings are sacred and blessed from Heaven. Why was the Messenger of God taken to the blessed Farthest Mosque? So that our Prophet Muhammad might witness the limitless power of God, Blessed and Exalted is He. At this point in human history… They knew only the camel as a means of transportation, and the journey from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem by camel would take at least a month. Yet the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, went and returned in a single night. The purpose of the Prophet Muhammad's journey was to show the horizons, not just the planet Earth. And God knows best.

The Comment

God Almighty said in several places, “By the figs and the olive, and Mount Sinai, and this secure city (Mecca).”

The fig and the olive symbolize all of beloved Palestine.

Mount Sinai symbolizes the blessed land of Sinai in Egypt.

As for the secure city, it is Mecca, may God honor its soil.

The Evidence

 In this world, some of us prefer summer to winter, and some prefer winter to summer. We also prefer certain places over others based on positive experiences we have had. God Almighty, in His infinite glory, does the same. He has beloved places, times, and people—the prophets and messengers—all of which hold a special place in His sight. It is no wonder, then, that God Almighty favors these three lands and mentions them in His Holy Book. All of Palestine, not just Jerusalem, is a pure and beloved land to God Almighty, especially because it contains the Holy House (Jerusalem), the site of the Prophet Muhammad's Night Journey (peace be upon him), and the place where prophets descended. Palestine and all its surroundings are blessed by the sanctity of Jerusalem. As for the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), it is the most beloved to God Almighty, for it is the first house established for mankind on Earth, and the houses of God in... The land is the mosques, and the significance of the journey from the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) to the Al-Aqsa Mosque (Masjid al-Aqsa) is clear. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Journeys should only be undertaken to three places: one of them is the Al-Aqsa Mosque…” This is a clear indication of the importance of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and that Muslims will never neglect it.

Now… before we recount the story of the Isra’ (Night Journey) … let us discuss how the journey to the Al-Aqsa Mosque was accomplished so quickly in a single night, a journey that would have taken the Arabs approximately two months by camel.

The Description of Al-Buraq

 The description of Al-Buraq, which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rode, is found in the two Sahihs (Bukhari and Muslim). Al-Bukhari (3207) and Muslim narrated, with the wording being Muslim's, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I was brought Al-Buraq, a white, tall animal, larger than a donkey but smaller than a mule. It placed its hoof as far as its eye could see. I rode it until I reached Jerusalem.” He said: “I tied it to the ring to which the prophets used to tie it.” According to Ibn Khuzaymah, “Its steps…” (The furthest point of his gaze) meaning: He places his foot at the very edge of what his eye can see.

The Comment

 We agree that every religion has a tangible miracle, and perhaps a spiritual one, but a miracle is essential. A miracle is something extraordinary. If someone came along, ate and drank with us, walked in the markets, and then claimed to be a messenger of God, would you believe him? Of course not. Therefore, there must be something extraordinary. This seems to be the primary reason why Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Seal of the Prophets. Why? Because life is nearing its end, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I and the Hour have been sent like this,” or “like these two,” and he joined his index and middle fingers. This means that we are in the end times, and as time draws closer to its end, civilization advances and people increasingly utilize technology and other advancements. We are in the age of the scientific robotics revolution, and we have seen designer babies firsthand. We have heard about cryogenics, the supposed preservation of the dead, and even the possibility of reviving them and extending life, or transhumanism, and other things that completely baffle the mind. It is truly astonishing that humanity in the end times has reached this point. There are two points to consider here:

1- If the era we live in had arrived with the same level of technology, and God Almighty had not brought anything more advanced at the beginning of human or Islamic history—so advanced that no one could possibly reach what the West has achieved today—then some might argue that God is not capable of what the West has accomplished.

2- Praise be to God that He made our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, the Seal of the Prophets. Why? Because if someone were to come today and claim to be a messenger from God, or even claim to be a god, someone would say: "This is human civilization, and this cannot be a god." It's worth noting that many have claimed divinity in the world today, and these are the earthly religions, which, according to some search engines, number as many as 7,000.

Therefore, it was necessary to travel from the Sacred House (the Kaaba) to the Holy House (Jerusalem) as quickly as an airplane, or even faster, but in a way that the Arabs of that time could understand. If the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) had told them, "I traveled from here to there by airplane," the denial of him (peace and blessings be upon him) would have been even greater and more severe.

The story in brief

 The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was in Mecca. He prayed Maghrib (sunset prayer) in the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram). Then, he was taken on a night journey to Jerusalem, from where he ascended to heaven. He returned and prayed Fajr (dawn prayer) in the Sacred Mosque. He (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: "When I arrived at Jerusalem, angels descended from heaven with glad tidings and honor from the Lord of Glory, and I prayed in Jerusalem.

The Comment

Someone might say: I am an astronaut – and there are those who have performed Felix Baumgartner's famous jump, and many have ascended to the heavens and found nothing but smoke in the layers of the sky and saw nothing there. God, and He did not see the angels or the prophets...etc., so how is this possible? We do not have a satisfactory answer, but listen: What is the range of your vision? What is the range of your hearing? Let's assume your vision is 6/6 and perfect, can you see the city opposite the country where you live? Can you even see the viruses around you? Impossible. If you could, you would die of panic and fear from a virus whose diameter is no more than a few millimeters. So, what is the range of your hearing? Can you hear everything around you? Can you hear your heartbeat and the pressure of your blood flowing through your arteries? And the last question: Do you see infrared rays like roosters, donkeys, cats, etc.? Of course not. What I mean by all these questions is: You were created with limited capabilities for a limited place (this world). Therefore, the physical laws that govern Paradise are completely different. You are you, but excuse me, you do not defecate or anything unpleasant comes out of you. Is this logically possible? No, but the laws of physics govern everything, and they differ from one planet to another. Will they not differ in Paradise?

Leading the Prophets in Prayer – Peace Be Upon Them –

It is established in the authentic Sunnah that our Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, led his fellow prophets, peace be upon them, in prayer during the Night Journey and Ascension (Isra and Mi'raj) at Jerusalem. On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “I saw myself among a group of prophets. Moses was standing in prayer, and there was a man with curly hair, as if he were from the tribe of Shanu’ah (a well-known tribe whose characteristics include being strong and tall). Then Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him, was standing in prayer, and the person most resembling him was Urwah ibn Mas’ud al-Thaqafi. And then Abraham, peace be upon him, was standing in prayer, and the person most resembling him was your companion – meaning himself. Then the time for prayer came, and I led them in prayer.” (Narrated by Muslim)

The Comment

Al-Qurtubi said in his commentary: “It is established that the earth does not consume the bodies of prophets, saints, and martyrs. God has forbidden the earth to consume their bodies. And we certainly agree that the Night Journey and Ascension was a miracle, something extraordinary.” The first of the prophets' first teachings is not to be understood scientifically. Rather, it is essential to understand that we do not live alone in this universe, so expertly and precisely engineered. Jinn and angels live among us, even though we cannot see them, and they see us. We believe in this. Someone might say, "I have lived for 70 years and have never seen an angel or even a demon. Why should I believe in things I have never seen?" The answer to this question is that in life, there are effects without visible signs, and signs without effects. A well-known example of an effect without visible signs is electricity. You are certain there is electricity in your house. How do you know this? From the lights on. Have you smelled the electricity? Have you touched it? Have you tasted it? No, you cannot. Therefore, it is an effect without visible signs, and we are certain of its existence.

Here we conclude our discussion of the Isra' (Night Journey)

 In the next video, we will discuss the Mi'raj (Ascension). Although they are one journey, we have chosen to separate them to analyze each in a simplified manner, hoping to understand God's will, may He be glorified and exalted. And I conclude for you. Question: Do you know why a lion can hunt a gazelle despite the gazelle's incredible speed? It's also the laws of physics. The gazelle looks back frequently, which slows it down, while the lion runs in one continuous stride and catches it. When the laws of physics govern our worldly affairs, don't even ask about them in our spiritual lives. And God knows best. Dear listener, may you remain well, and may God's peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

In the previous video, we finished discussing the Isra' (Night Journey) from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and the surrounding area. In this video, we will discuss the Ascension to Heaven and what we learn from this journey, about which scholars have differed: was it a spiritual journey only, or a physical one? The more likely view is that it was a physical journey, to demonstrate the miracle in its entirety. What did the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, see in the horizons (some scenes of the punishment of certain groups of people, even if they were Muslims who committed these sins), and the implications of this? And what happened when the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, addressed his people after his return from the Isra'? The Night Journey and Ascension, and is it easy for a person to be truthful and have all his people disbelieve him except for a few individuals? Here in this journey, Abdullah bin Qahafa was named “Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq”, may God be pleased with him. So, let us learn about the events.

The Ascension by Ascension (al-Mi'raj)

The more linguistically accurate term, as we have read from scholars, is the journey of ascension (rihlat al-'uruj), not the journey of ascension (rihlat al-mi'raj). Ascension (mi'raj) refers to the instrument used to ascend to heaven.

Most importantly: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Gabriel (peace be upon him) took me by the hand to the rock (i.e., the Dome of the Rock) and seated me upon it. There I saw an ascension to heaven, the like of which I had never seen in beauty and splendor. I ascended to the lowest heaven and saw its wonders and its dominion, and its angels greeted me.” Then Gabriel ascended with me to the second heaven, and there I saw Jesus, son of Mary, and John, son of Zechariah. Then he ascended with me to the third heaven, and there I saw Joseph. Then he ascended with me to the fourth heaven, and there I saw Idris. Then he ascended with me to the fifth heaven, and there I saw Aaron. Then he ascended with me to the sixth heaven, and there I saw a great multitude surging against one another, and there were the cherubim (and the cherubin mean: the angels closest to God, including Gabriel, Michael, and Israfil, according to some commentators). Then he ascended with me to the seventh heaven, and there I saw creation and angels. Then we passed beyond it, ascending to the highest of the high.

In another hadith

 on the authority of Abdullah, he said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Night Journey, he was brought to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary. It is in the sixth heaven, and to it ascends whatever is brought up from the earth, and from it is taken. And to it descends whatever is brought down from above, and from it is taken. He said: “When that which covered the Lote Tree covered it” (16). He said: A covering of gold. He said: So, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was given three things: He was given the five daily prayers. He was given the concluding verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, and forgiveness was granted—for those of his nation who did not associate anything with God—for the major sins that would condemn their perpetrators to Hell.

The witness

 God Almighty, for those who believe in Him, is the Creator of the universe, not just the world with its galaxies, continents, earth, sky, and everything in between, all within a highly precise cosmic design. He says in several places in the Quran, "Indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count." This means that the time that governs us here on planet Earth is not the time that God Almighty controls. We are governed by the factors of time and space, while God Almighty is not governed by such things. By this calculation, it is equivalent to 5,000 years. So, if you are 60 years old, for example, in the sight of God Almighty, you are almost as if you have not yet been born. Do you not recall His saying, "He will say, 'How long did you remain on earth in number of years?' (112) They will say, 'We remained a day or part of a day; so, ask those who keep count.' (113)" – Why do we live? On Earth, we live for 60, 70, or even 100 years, yet we can't imagine that these days will be no more than a day or two on the Day of Judgment. Simply put, the spacetime that governs us on Earth will cease to exist. The Day of Judgment will have its own spacetime, entirely different from the time we are accustomed to here on Earth. Let me give you another example: Do you know how many hours there are on Mars? It's 25 hours of daylight, making it the planet most similar to our home planet, Earth, where we have lived our entire lives. Venus has 36 hours. Spacetime varies from planet to planet. God Almighty is the Architect of the Universe. If He was able to make each planet in the Milky Way so different, would it be beyond His power to make His Messenger travel from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem in a single night? Just stop, O mind, at your limits. Blessed be God, the best of judges, the Ruler of the laws of cosmic physics. And God is Most High and All-Knowing.

What did the Messenger of God see during the Night Journey (Mi'raj)?

Among the things narrated about the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in a lengthy hadith about the Night Journey is the following:

"I saw a group of people who seized men and were crushing their heads with stones

Every time their heads were crushed, they would recover, then they would return and crush them with stones again, and so on. So I said, 'O Gabriel, who are these people?'" He said: “These are the ones who are negligent in performing the obligatory prayers, performing them lazily, and sleeping through the Isha prayer.”

He said: “Then I passed by people who had lips like the lips of camels,

They were cutting flesh from their bodies and throwing it into their mouths. I said: ‘Who are these, O Gabriel?’ He said: ‘They are the slanderers and backbiters.’

Then I continued on, and behold, I There are people who will have fire thrown into their mouths, and it will come out of their anuses.

I asked, "Who are these?" He replied, "These are those who unjustly consume the wealth of orphans. They are only consuming fire into their bellies, and they will be burned in a blazing fire."

Then I went on, and I saw people, one of whom wanted to stand but could not because of the size of his stomach.

I asked, "Who are these?" O Gabriel? He said: They are those who consume usury. They will not rise except as one whom Satan has afflicted with madness.

And indeed, they are like the people of Pharaoh; they are exposed to the Fire morning and evening, saying: Our Lord, when will the Hour come?

The comment

 You might ask, how could the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) have seen people being tormented in Hell and asked the Angel Gabriel what their deeds had been to deserve such severe punishment? The answer is perhaps twofold:

The first possibility

They are from previous nations, in accordance with the Prophet's saying, "Whoever dies, their resurrection begins," and like the people of Pharaoh: "They are exposed to the Fire morning and evening," meaning at the beginning and end of the day.

The second possibility

We agreed that a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning, and we agreed that when you leave planet Earth and go to a planet like Mars, for example, you physically adapt yourself to the climate there, just as they do with the inhabitants of Mars or those who will be qualified to live there, such as astronauts and others, by changing some of their physiological functions through genetic engineering, such as dilating the pupils of the eyes, or making their skin tone orange, or widening their foreheads, and so on. If this is our situation when moving from planet to planet, then what about moving from this world to the Hereafter? For its physics and spacetime are completely different from this world. In the knowledge of God and in the spacetime of the Hereafter, it is as if it is a journey to travel through the future... And God is Most High and All-Knowing.

After returning from the Night Journey and Ascension,

Then I returned to Mecca. When morning came, I told the people about it, but Abu Jahl and the polytheists disbelieved me. Mut'im ibn 'Adi said, "Do you claim that you traveled a two-month journey in an hour? I testify that you are a liar." Then the Quraysh said, "Tell us what you saw." He said, "I passed by the caravan of so-and-so, and they had lost one of their camels and were searching for it. In their saddlebags was a large, thick bowl full of water. I drank the water and then covered it." As it was.” So they asked them, “Did you find the water in the cup?” They said, “This is one sign.” He said, “And I passed by the caravan of so-and-so, and so-and-so’s pulley bolted and its handle broke (the pulley is a round piece of wood with an axle inside it on which it rotates), so they asked them about that.” They said, “This is another sign.” They said, “Then tell us about our caravan?” He said, “I passed by it at al-Tan’im, preceded by a reddish-brown camel with two surrounding saddlebags, and it will appear to you at sunrise.” They said, “This is another sign.” Then they went out, hurrying towards the wilderness, saying, “Muhammad has made a clear judgment between us and him.” They sat waiting until the sun rose so they could disbelieve him—that is, until the caravan with the red camel in front of it appeared. One of them said, “By God, the sun has risen!” Another said, “By God, these camels have appeared, preceded by a reddish-brown camel.” They were astonished, yet they still did not believe.

As for Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may God be pleased with him), his stance was as follows:

While the Quraysh greeted the news of the Isra' (Night Journey) with mockery and skepticism, and sought to sow discord among the believers, they approached Abu Bakr, thinking he might hesitate or doubt. But his response was decisive, stemming from unwavering certainty: "If he said that, then he spoke the truth." And that was the end of it. It is said that he was called al-Siddiq (the Truthful) because of this incident and others.

The Comment: Listen to psychology

Excessive honesty can have both positive and negative effects on an individual's well-being. Research shows that honesty can be more enjoyable and less damaging to relationships than people expect. In fact, honesty can enhance social interaction and improve psychological well-being in the long run.

The point is

What were the feelings of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him)? We are not saying that he was certain he was telling the truth while his people disbelieved him. No, no. Rather, we are asking: What were his feelings before his Lord supported him in this way? Was he certain that God Almighty would support him? And when those around you lie to you about Mac, and you have drawn closer to God Almighty, do you feel His support for you? Do you imagine that He will defend you? Is it the secrets of prayer, or is it drawing closer to God Almighty? Or is it trusting in God and having good reliance on Him?

What do we learn from the Night Journey and Ascension?

1- God Almighty says: “The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a Day the measure of which is fifty thousand years” (4). This verse indicates that the angels descend by command from God Almighty and then return to Him again – that is, going and coming – in a day equivalent to a thousand years of human life. This means that the ascension alone takes five hundred human years. This implies that what humans cover in five hundred years, the angel covers in a single day. This also means that the speed of Gabriel, peace be upon him, is one hundred times greater than the speed of many other angels.

2- Whoever desires to ascend to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary (Sidrat al-Muntaha), which even the angels closest to God Almighty cannot reach, should prostrate. God Almighty says, "And prostrate and draw near [to Him]." Prostration is the magic of a Muslim's life. In prostration, one not only removes sins and transgressions from their back, but also draws closer to the earth and its positive energy, absorbing its positive charge and leaving the negative behind. One becomes close to the elements of the universe—the earth and clay from which we were created. Therefore, if you are praying, deeply devout, and burdened with sorrows, and you say after praying, "I feel at peace," does that mean your problem is solved? No, rather, you have connected with the universe, you have connected with the One who governs the universe, and tranquility and peace have reached your heart, and that is the end of it.

3- God Almighty is able to dispel your sorrows through your closeness – through prostration – through true closeness to God Almighty. He is able to change the laws of the universe for your sake if you draw near to the point of being consumed by divine light. It was said to Al-Hasan ibn Ali, may God be pleased with them both: “Why are those who pray at night among the most handsome of people?” He replied: “Because they were alone with the Most Merciful, so He clothed them with His light.”

We have concluded the journey of Isra and Mi'raj. Dear listener… May you remain well, and may your face be illuminated by the light of His glorifications, may His glory be exalted. O God, bless Muhammad and his family and companions and grant them peace.
