The Restraint and the Tolerance in the life of the Prophet PBUH الحلم والتسامح في حياة الرسول

 إن منهج الإسلام قائمٌ على الاعتدال والتوازن في كلِّ شيءٍ، وبالتالي فإنَّ اندِفاع النَّفس غضبًا أو إساءةً يمثِّل انحرافًا عن المنهج الإسلاميِّ القويم، الذي يأمر بالصَّبر وكظمِ الغيظ والتَّواضُع، ففي أكثر من آية في القرآن الكريم ورد التوجيه بهذه القِيَم.

فقال الله تعالى في صفات المتقين:

 ﴿الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ﴾ [البقرة: 134].

وقال في قصَّة لقمان مع ابنه:

 ﴿يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ﴾ [لقمان: 17].

وقال جلَّ شأنه في صفات من دعاهم عباد الرحمن:

 ﴿وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا﴾ [الفرقان: 63]. 

وامتدح رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الأشجَّ بن عبد القيس رضي الله عنه وقال له: «إِنَّ فِيكَ خَصْلَتَيْنِ يُحِبُّهُمَا اللهُ: الْحِلْمُ، وَالْأَنَاةُ» رواه مسلم.

وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم أيضًا عن ضرورة ضبط النفس عند الغضب: «لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ، إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الغَضَبِ» رواه البخاري ومسلم.

لقد بلغ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم غاية الحلم والعفو

وأن السنة النبوية حافلة بمواقف الرسول الكريم في الحلم والتسامح .

على سبيل المثال

وعن عبد الله بن مسعود ـ رضي الله عنه ـ قال: ( كأني أني أنظر إلى النبي ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يحكي نبيا من الأنبياء، ضربه قومه فأدموه، وهو يمسح الدم عن وجهه ويقول: اللهم اغفر لقومي فإنهم لا يعلمون )(البخاري) .

انظر ما في هذا القول من جماع الفضل ودرجات الإحسان، وحسن الخلق وكرم النفس، وغاية الصبر والحلم، إذ لم يقتصر ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ على السكوت عنهم حتى عفا عنهم، ثم أشفق عليهم ورحمهم، ودعا وشفع لهم، فقال: اغفر أو اهد، ثم أظهر سبب الشفقة والرحمة بقوله: لقومي، ثم اعتذر عنهم بجهلهم فقال: فإنهم لا يعلمون .." .

التسامح والحلم من سمات النبى

التسامح والحلم النبوي يشيران إلى الصفات الحميدة التي تحلى بها النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، حيث كان مثالًا يُحتذى به في العفو والصفح عن المسيئين، وقبول الأعذار، واللين في التعامل. هذه الصفات تجسدت في مواقف عديدة من سيرته العطرة، سواء مع أصحابه أو مع خصومه، مما جعل منه قدوة في الأخلاق والتسامح.

ونبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم مع عظيم عفوه وجميل تسامحه كان يغضب للحق إذا انتُهِكَت حرماته، فعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: (ما ضرب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم شيئًا قطُّ بيده، ولا امرأة، ولا خادماً، إلَّا أن يجاهد في سبيل الله. وما نِيل منه شيء قطُّ، فينتقم مِن صاحبه، إلا أن يُنْتَهك شيء مِن محارم الله، فينتقم لله عزَّ وجلَّ) رواه مسلم.

أمثلة على التسامح النبوي

1- العفو عند المقدرة

كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يعفو عن المسيئين إليه، حتى عندما تمكن منهم، كما حدث يوم فتح مكة، حيث عفا عن أهلها بعد أن آذوه وأخرجوه من بلده.

2- اللين في التعامل

كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سهلًا في بيعه وشرائه، وفي تعامله مع الناس عامة، حيث كان يراعي مشاعرهم ويحسن إليهم.

3- قبول الأعذار

كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقبل الأعذار من أصحابه، ويسامحهم على زلاتهم، مما جعلهم يحبونه أكثر.

4- الحلم

كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يتصف بالحلم والأناة، فلا يتعجل في الأمور، ولا يغضب لأتفه الأسباب، بل كان يصبر ويتعامل بحكمة.

5- الرحمة للعالمين

بعث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رحمة للعالمين، وكان تعامله مع الناس عامة قائماً على الرحمة والتسامح، سواء كانوا مسلمين أو غير مسلمين

6- أهمية التسامح في الإسلام

ـ سبب لمحبة الله ورسوله: {وإنك لعلى خلق عظيم}، {وما أرسلناك إلا رحمة للعالمين}

- سبب لدخول الجنة: {أدخل الله عز وجل الجنة رجلاً كان سهلًا مشتريًا وبائعًا وقاضيًا ومقتضيًا}

- سبب لانتشار المحبة والألفة بين الناس: {كن لطيفًا ولا تكن عنيفًا}

التسامح في السنة النبوية

{رَحِمَ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا سَمْحًا إذا باعَ، وإذا اشْتَرَى، وإذا اقْتَضَى}

{ألا مَنْ ظلم معاهدًا، أو انتقصه، أو كلَّفه فوق طاقته، أو أخذ منه شيئًا بغير طيب نفس؛ فأنا حجيجه – أي: أنا الذي أخاصمه وأحاجُّه – يوم القيامة}

ولقد اهتم علماء التنمية البشرية وعلم النفس بإبراز مميزات تحلى الإنسان بصفة التسامح.

فالتسامح هو أحد أهم الأسرار التى تجعل الإنسان يشعر بالسلام النفسى، والاستقرار الداخلى، إن النجاح لا يتوقف فقط على الحصول على شهادات علمية رفيعة والتخطيط الجيد والمهارات المختلفة، لكنه يعتمد بدرجة كبيرة إلى جانب كل ما سبق على الاتزان فى الجوانب المختلفة من حياة الإنسان ومن هذه الجوانب وأهمها هو الجانب الروحانى، الذى يهتم بدرجة كبيرة بالتسامح.

و لكن للأسف هناك الكثير من الأشخاص يتخلون عن هذه الصفة ويملأون نفوسهم بمشاعر الحقد والكراهية وحب الانتقام من الآخرين مما ينتج عنه تحويل حياتهم إلى سلسلة من المتاعب والصعوبات بدلاً من أن تصبح رحلة مسكونة بالسلام والهدوء والنجاحات.

فإن من لا يعرف التسامح بداخله طاقة سلبية كبيرة تحطمه وتقضى على راحة باله وإحساسه بالهدوء النفسى والسكينة، لأنه بداخله كراهية ورغبة فى الانتقام مما يعيقه عن تحقيق أهدافه وعن التفكير المنطقى السليم المحايد تجاه الآخرين وتجاه جميع مجالات الحياة.

الخلاصة

التسامح والحلم النبوي هما من أهم الصفات التي يجب على المسلم التحلي بها، وهما أساس الحياة الطيبة والسعادة في الدنيا والآخرة.

 

The approach of Islam is based

on moderation and balance in everything, and therefore the impulsion of the soul is anger or abuse that represents a deviation from the right Islamic approach, which orders patience and the greatness of anger and humility, in more than one verse in the Holy Qur’an and the guidance of this values.

 

 And God Almighty said about the characteristics of the righteous

: “Those who spend in secrets, harm, and those who are angry, and those who are well -known from people, and God loves the good ﴾[134].

Allah says

: ﴿الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ﴾ [البقرة: 134]. 

And he said in the story of Luqman with his son: “O sons of the prayers of the prayer, command the well -known, and it is about the denial, and be patient with what happened to you.” [17]

Allah says

﴿يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ﴾ [لقمان: 17].

And most of his affairs said in the attributes of those who called the servants of the Most Merciful: “The servants of the Most Merciful, who walk on the earth, are there, and when the ignorant people addressed them, they said:“ 63]

Allah says

﴿وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا﴾ [الفرقان: 63].

 

And the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, praised Al -Ashj bin Abdul Qais, may God be pleased with him, and said to him: “There are two challenges, and God loves them: the restraint and the life.” Narrated . (by Muslim)

And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, also said about the necessity of restraint when anger: "The hardship is not a hardship".

 

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, has reached the goal of restraint and pardon

And that the Sunnah of the Prophet is full of the positions of the Holy Prophet in a restraint and tolerance .  

For example  

 the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud – may God be pleased with him – he said: (As if I look at the Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – tells a prophet from the prophets, his people struck him and they were destroyed, and he wipes the blood from his face and says: Oh God, forgive my nationalism, they do not know. (Bukhari)

See what is in this statement from the intercourse of credit and the degrees of charity, good manners and generosity of the soul, and the purpose of patience and restraint, as it was not limited – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – to silence them until he pardoned them, then pity them and their mercy, and he called and interceded for them, so he said: Forgive or guide, then show the reason for compassion and mercy by saying: For them, then he apologized for them .  

The tolerance and restraint is a characteristic of the Prophet

Tolerance and the prophetic restraint refer to the good qualities that the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, showed, as it was an example to be followed in pardon and forgiveness for the abusers, accepting excuses, and softness in dealing. These qualities were embodied in many positions of his fragrant biography, whether with his companions or with his opponents, which made him an example in morals and tolerance

 

Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, despite his great forgiveness and beautiful tolerance, would become angry for the sake of justice when his sacred values were violated. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: "The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, never struck anyone with his hand, not a woman, nor a servant, except when he was fighting in the cause of God. And he was never harmed by anything, and he would take revenge on its perpetrator, except when one of God's sacred values was violated, in which case he would take revenge for the sake of God Almighty. " (Narrated by Muslim) .

 

Some examples of Prophetic tolerance:

 

• Forgiveness when able

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would forgive those who wronged him, even when he was able to do so, as happened on the day of the conquest of Mecca, when he forgave its people after they had harmed him and expelled him from his country.

 

• Gentleness in dealings

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was easygoing in his dealings with people in general, being considerate of their feelings and treating them kindly.

 

• Accepting Excuses

 The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, accepted apologies from his companions and forgave them for their mistakes, which made them love him even more.

 

• The restraint 

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was characterized by patience and deliberation. He did not rush into matters or become angry over trivial matters. Rather, he was patient and dealt with matters wisely.

 

• The Mercy to the Worlds  

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was sent as a mercy to the worlds, and his treatment of all people was based on mercy and tolerance, whether they were Muslims or non-Muslims.  

The Importance of Tolerance in Islam

 - A reason for the love of God and His Messenger: {And indeed, you are of a great moral character}, {And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds}

– A reason for entering Paradise: {God Almighty admitted to Paradise a man who was easygoing in buying and selling, in judging and collecting debts}

– A reason for the spread of love and harmony among people: {Be kind and do not be harsh}  

The Tolerance in the Prophetic Sunnah

 {May Allah have mercy on a man who is tolerant when he sells, when he buys, and when he demands payment.} {Whoever wrongs a covenantor, or diminishes his rights, or burdens him beyond his capacity, or takes something from him without his consent, then I will be his opponent-meaning: I will be the one who disputes with him and argues with him-on the Day of Resurrection.}

Unfortunately, many people abandon this trait and fill their souls with feelings of hatred, resentment, and a desire for revenge against others, which results in turning their lives into a series of troubles and difficulties instead of becoming a journey filled with peace, tranquility, and success.

 Those who do not know tolerance have a great deal of negative energy inside them that destroys them and destroys their peace of mind and their sense of psychological calm and serenity, because inside them there is hatred and a desire for revenge, which prevents them from achieving their goals and from thinking logically, soundly and neutrally towards others and towards all areas of life.
